    Abstract

Using an accurate full-vectorial finite element method, a realistic model of a fabricated dispersion compensating photonic crystal fiber is analyzed. An almost flat Raman-gain spectrum (gain-ripples at just ±0.48-dB) is obtained using a single pump.
