Abstract

The invention relates to an optical metasurface to interact with incoming light and a method for producing an optical metasurface. The optical metasurface may be used as a meta-lens, a blazed grating, a phase plate or another optical device. The optical metasurface is comprising a transparent substrate comprising a plurality of nano-holes or nano-pillars. The plurality of the nano-holes or nano- pillars of the transparent substrate are covered by a plurality of shaped layers comprising a transparent dielectric material.
