Abstract
Fire safety can in some countries bedocumented, with the use of design fires,that use soot yield values from the SFPEhandbook (Tewarson).e.g., DK, SE. Soot yield data in the SFPE handbook havemainly been created by conducting smallscale experiments with materials, and resultsare listed as conclusive values. Test have been performed, to examine if sootyield varies with change in heat release.
