Abstract
An introduction to some of the most fundamental concepts and
methods of signal analysis and signal processing is presented with
particular regard to acoustic measurements. The purpose is to give
the reader so much basic knowledge of signal analysis that he can
use modern digital equipment in some of the most important
acoustic measurements, eg measurements of transfer functions of
lightly damped multi-modal systems (rooms and structures).
