    Abstract

Algorithms and programs for consequence diagram and sequential fault tree construction are presented which are intended for reliability and disturbance analysis of large systems. The system to be analysed must be given as a block diagram formed by mini fault trees of individual system components. The programs were written in LISP programming language and run on a PDP8 computer with 8k words of storage. This report describes the methods used and gives a detailed description of the program construction and working
