Abstract

The EUDP‐2012 proposal, “Improved wind turbine efficiency using synchronized
sensors” is a project which focuses on improving the efficiency of energy production, primarily for wind turbines, but as a spinoff, also traditional power
plants. It builds on the experience and proven technology from three previous
wind turbine projects: ‐ A wing mounted inflow sensor for wind turbines. This
system has gone through multiple stages of development, and will be greatly
enhanced by the synchronization technology from this project.
