Abstract
This book is developed as a textbook for the course Advanced
Control Engineering. The book is intended for students in
mechanical engineering and its aim is to provide an understanding
of modern control theory as well as methodologies and applications
for state space modeling and design. For this reason, the book
puts emphasis on the state-space approach. The main contents of
the book includes state-space representation of dynamic systems,
analysis of linear control systems, feedback control and observer
design. Both continuous-time and discrete-time systems have been
addressed in this book.
