The paper presents a new thin-walled high performance concrete (HPC) sandwich panel system reinforced with basalt fiber-reinforced plastic (BFRP). System is characteristic with a high structural resistance, thermal resistance and environmental friendliness. The newly developed shear connecting system made of a BFRP grid and its structural design is described in a detail. The development of the system led from the small-scale specimens to full-scale specimens testing loaded by uniformly distributed load.
