A Survey of Measuring Methods at Test Stations for Wind Turbines

Measuring methods in use at the various test stations for wind turbines are surveyed. The survey was performed by distributing a questionnaire to test stations for wind turbines on a worldwide basis. Sixteen test stations returned a filled-in questionnaire, and an analysis of the responses is presented in the report. Besides the survey of the measuring methods, the report describes a series of proposals for study projects which could be carried out in cooperation among the test stations with the aim of further developing measuring methods on a mutual basis at the test stations.
