A survey is given of archaelogical samples dated in 1986 at the Nordic Laboratory for Thermoluminescence Dating. A total of 36 samples were dated. The results were corrected for short-term fading as measured for samples stored for four weeks either at room temperature or at 100 °C. The beta dose from potassium and rubidium in feldspar and the alpha dose from uranium and thorium in quartz and feldspar grains were included assuming alpha efficiency factors of 0.1 and 0.2 for quartz and feldspar, respectively.
