A survey is given of archaeological samples dated in
1984 at the Nordic Laboratory for Thermoluminescence Dating. A
total of 79 samples were dated, 49 of which were burnt stones.
All results were corrected for fading as measured for samples
stored for four weeks at room temperature. The alpha dose contribution
from uranium in the quartz and feldspar grains was
included assuming an alpha efficiency factor of 0.1 for quartz
and 0.2 for feldspars.
