    Abstract

Simple water was recently proposed as an interesting material candidate for the design of microwave dielectric resonators antennas, absorbers, as well as metamaterials and metamaterials with a large number of functionalities [1] - [3]. Although its losses may pose problems, especially at higher frequencies, the advantage of water lies primarily in its relatively high-permittivity, its abundance and relatively low cost, as well as its bio-friendly nature. Furthermore, water-based designs can easily be tuned mechanically, chemically as well as thermally, as opposed to many other materials in use, particularly in the microwave frequency range.
