This report deals with a first and a second order model for the description of the wake behind a wind turbine. The models are based on the tubulent boundary equations and closed form solutions are obtained for the width of the wake as well as for the mean wind profile in the wake, by adopting a similarity assumption oand by utilizing the mixing length theory in the description of the turbulent stresses. The models have been made accessible by being impleented into an interactive program package designed for use on a personal computer. The use of the package is described.
