    Abstract

This paper will present a novel concept of a
floating offshore wind turbine. The new concept is
intended for vertical-axis wind turbine technology.
The main purpose is to increase simplicity and to
reduce total costs of an installed offshore wind
farm. The concept is intended for deep water and
    large size turbines.
