Abstract

A simple model for the wake behind a wind generator is given. The model is compared to some full scale experimental results. The model is then used in an example where the production from a circular cluster of 10 wind generators is calculated. Next the simple wake model is extended to deal with a number of aligned generators, and finally an example is given where the production from a linear cluster of 10 generators is calculated.
