Abstract
This paper proposes a new methodology for developing and implementing Operations Strategy (OS). It encompasses both content and process aspects of OS and differs thereby from many of the present OS methodologies. The paper outlines its paradigmatic foundation and presents aim, process, dimensions, guidelines and required competencies for using it on OS in practice. A case-based action research strategy has been conducted to make a first test and evaluation of the OS methodology and the paper thus provides a case example illustrating its practical unfolding. Finally a discussion is made on the methodology and its ability to support change agents in development and implementation of OS and suggestions are proposed for further improvement and testing of it.
