Abstract
An expression for the dry deposition velocity is given in terms of constant flux layer scaling. Numerical values of upper bounds on the deposition velocity is given for a typical situation. Some remarks are then offered on the relative merits of various ways in which the combined diffusion-deposition process is usually modeled. It is concluded that a great deal of caution should be exercised in the interpretation of K-model results.
