Abstract

The invention relates to a method for in vivo detection of small molecules or polypeptides that act as regulators of CRISPR-Cas associated activity, in particular the method is for use in the screening of molecule libraries and non-host DNA libraries. The method employs cells comprising genes expressing CRISPR-Cas associated activity and a reporter protein to allow the detection of said regulators. The invention further relates to cells comprising genes expressing of CRISPR-Cas associated activity and a reporter protein for use in said in vivo screening and detection methods.
