N2 - Digitalisation offers new opportunities for saving energy in buildings. Digitalisation fundamentally takes a datadriven approach to the management and control of energy consuming equipment in buildings. This data-driven approach includes steps of (i) data capture, (ii) data management (iii) data analysis and (iv) data-driven decision implementation. Hence, the benefits of digitalisation are somewhat predicated on access to relevant data, in a way that is costeffective, trustworthy, flexible, and consistent with obligations to manage privacy and commercial rights.
