Abstract
A method for implementing a digital distance relay in the power
system is described.Instructions are given on how to program this
relay on a 80537 based microcomputer system.The problem is used as
a practical case study in the course 53113: Micocomputer
applications in the power system.The relay is tested in a
laboratory set-up.
