40 Gbit/s NRZ Packet-Length Insensitive Header Extraction for Optical Label Switching Networks

    Abstract

    A simple method for 40 Gbit/s NRZ header extraction based on envelope detection for optical label switching networks is presented. The scheme is insensitive to packet length and spacing and can be single-chip integrated cost-effectively
