Abstract
In this paper the transmission of a 15Gbit/s duobinary signal over a W-band hybrid photonic wireless link is demonstrated experimentally. The radio-over-fiber link consists of 10km SMF and a wireless distance of 50m, utilizing RF carriers at 83–87GHz. Transmission of a 15Gbit/s duobinary signal is achieved with a BER of 2.9×10-3, i.e. below the limit for a 7%
overhead FEC.
