Project Details
Description
The Prebiotic Center is a large research effort aiming to develop, synthesize and characterize new carbohydrates with beneficial effects on human health (e.g. prebiotics). This offers new possibilities for use of biological waste products.
The Role of WP2 in Prebiotic Center is to reveal effects of putatively prebiotic carbohydrates on gut microbiota and immune fuction. We collaborate with Danisco and Herlev Hospital within this WP.
