  • Bhamidipati, Padmasai Lakshmi (Project Participant)

Project Details

This project analyses the market for a partly locally produced kW-scale wind turbine to be integrated into a PV mini-grid for rural electrification in Kenya, in order to reduce the cost of electricity and support local value creation. The project is a partnership between SustainableEnergy, Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Technical University of Denmark, Kenya Climate Innovation Center and Rural Electrification Authority. Funding comes from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark through the Danida Market Development Partnerships programme.
