    Description

    Turbulence level and bed shear stresses are investigated for different combinations of waves and current in a circular pipe in "full scale" in an extensive experimental study. The investigation includes the mean and the fluctuating properties of the bed shear stress, the flow resistance, the mean velocity and turbulence profiles. The results will, in the long run, be implemented by the frame research program Marien Technique (STVF), while a colloborative research effort with Delft Hydraulics in Holland has been undertaken
