Description

The World Dialogue on Regulation for Network Economies (WDR) Project was initiated by infoDev (World Bank), which is providing foundation funding. It is managed by LIRNE.NET, and supported by: the Center for Tele-Information, Technical University of Denmark; the Delft University of Technology; and the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT). Additional partners are expected to join. WDR is being established as an independent entity with multiple partners, funding sources and an independent Board. Events will be reported here as they happen. The mission of WDR is to facilitate an international dialogue that generates and disseminates new knowledge on frontier issues in regulation and governance to support the development of network economies. The core activities are: Dialogue on Interactive Web Site, Case Studies & Research Reports, Forum Discussions among Experts and Wide Dissemination in Print & Electronic Form.
