Description
The genus Penicillium has been regarded as difficult to classify, especially strains from soil. Many of these fungi have been used in biotechnology, yet thjey are often misidentified. This project inconcerned with a new classification scheeme of soil-borne penicillia. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation, USA
