Test and Design Methods for Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete. BRITE-EURAM Project, contract number BRPR-CT98-813

    Project Details

    Description

The overall objectives of the project is to plan and collect basic research efforts to facilitate the proper recognition of the role of fibers in concrete through:
    1. develop design methods aiming at accurately evaluating the structural behavior of FRC in structural applications
    2. define appropriate test methods to characterize the toughness properties of SFRC materials
    3. validate the developed test and design approach through testing of large scale SRFC specimens
