Systemic modelling of current product development approaches towards sustainability

Project Details

Description

Sustainability has become vital for manufacturing companies in meeting the demand for more responsible products. Efforts have been taken by companies to produce sustainable products by means of management and operational practices during the Sustainable Product Development (SPD) process. But there is a gap to achieve and measure sustainability performance of a product, as the linkage between product performance and applied management practices are not known.

This project aims to provide a guiding path for manufacturing companies to identify the most suitable management approach that ensure sustainability of a product linked to its process performance
