Systematics of fungi growing on raw food materials

    Project Details

    Description

Fusarium and Trichoderma, often deteriorating - and producing mycotoxins on - raw food materials are extremely difficult to classify and identify. In this project new polyphasic phenotypic approaches are used to suggest reliable predictive systematics. The results will be compared to DNA sequence based cladifications.
