Project Details
Description
The programme is a joint effort by The Department of Structural Engineering and Materials (BKM), The Institute of Applied Structural and Environmental Engineering (IABM), both at DTU, The Institute of Building Technology and Structural Engineering (IFB) at Aalborg University, and The Danish Building Research Institute (SBI).
The focus is on stochastic mechanical aspects of relevance for structural reliability analysis, damage assessment and load modelling.
The following subprojects are contained in the programme:
PROJECT A: Stochastic dynamics.
PROJECT B: Spatial and temporal property variations.
PROJECT C: Manageable reliability methods for elaborate mechanical models.
PROJECT D: Evaluation of the reliability of existing structures.
PROJECT E: Codification and decision theory including risk analysis.
PROJECT F: Stochastic traffic load modelling.
PROJECT F: Stochastic material and load models.
PROJECT H: Miscellaneous investigations in reliability methods and related statistical methods.
