Description
In connection with the implementation of Eurocode 5, Design of Timber Structures it has been realized that glulam from the Nordic countries will be penalized due to insufficient knowledge of the mechanical properties of glulam laminations. The aim of the present project is to establish the basis for the assignment of characteristic strength values to such lamellas. It is the aim to also establish a mutual data base which will in the future be available to researchers from Scandinavian wood research institutions.
