Strategic Design Approaches to Achieving Climate Neurtral and Resource Effective Society

Project Details

Description

The overall aim of this PhD is to provide a comprehensive methodology that can both support and guide companies in understanding what is the specific sustainability strategy, how to deploy it into actions, and what are the appropriate measures. The methodology will pave the way for companies to perform adequate actions during their sustainability transition, by indicating what actions to implement at the appropriate time. Example of actions include measuring progress overtime, quantification of impacts, assessing if the company is achieving the goals at the estimated rate. The proposed methodology will ultimately support companies to promote and support climate neutral societies and resource effectiveness strategies, through deploying the strategy into the organisation throughout the different business processes, such as supply chain management, operations, product development, procurement, among others.
