Description
The research focus on wood-water relations and cell wall properties. Materials to be investigated are wood and plant fibres treated in different ways, to enhance the industrial use of the plant fibres in composite materials. The characterisation of the cell wall includes different techniques for the determination of the parameters connected with the sorption of water. The project is a collaboration between DTU, Risø and KVL.
