Description
The constitutive relations can be evaluated given a knowledge of the stress state in a material. The variation of the stresses are described with a FEM model which is being developed in object-oriented C++ programming. Central in the study is the determination of the program structure in such a way that the program can be extended in an easy way. This is convenient when implementing new constitutive relations to model material behaviour.
