Smart and Sustainable User-Interactive Personal Climate in Hospitals

    Project Details

    Description

Providing optimal conditions for hospital users at lower energy use can be done through smart control of the local climate that acts closely to the human body. This can be achieved through a smart system which senses the interaction between users and immediate climate, processed this information and understands the setting data, responds in a way that adjusts separately to the needs of each user and enhances perception of their physical and psychological well-being. A paradigm shift from the present building-attached slow responding and energy inefficient HVAC methods towards intelligent and flexible personalized systems is needed.
