    Description

    SAC-C is an Argentine satellite whose primary purpose is to image Argentina and its coastal waters with a 5-band imager. The SAC-C satellite will be launched on Apr. 13, 2000 from Vandenburg Air Force Base, California. SAC-C also carries a magnetometer for the Magnetic Measurement Package provided by the DTU in collaboration with DSRI. The MMP magnetometer is an advanced version of the instrument carried onboard the Ørsted satellite.
