Roskilde Smart Monitoring Household project

    Project Details

    Description

In this project, we will develop a smart energy data collecting method, and collect the detailed energy consumption and production data in the domestic sector. The data will used by residential users to improve energy efficiency, as well as for research.

Specifically, the objectives are: to collect reliable statistical information on the consumption of energy resources in the households for improving energy efficiency; to estimate the dwelling characteristics related with energy consumption; to monitor household energy consumption and obtain information on the installed energy consuming appliances, and; to investigate energy efficiency technologies and practices for recommendations. The data obtained can be used for several analyses, including: energy consumption anomaly detection, consumption disaggregation, discovering the correlation between energy consumption and the dwelling characteristics, pattern discovery, and studying consumption behavior changes.
