Project Details
Description
The quality of Danish solar energy components and their long-term durability is essential for the effort to increase the use of sustainable energy in the area of solar energy. The project will contribute to a better understanding of the test procedure that secures the durability of the components. The working group "Materials in Solar Thermal Collectors", abbreviated to MSTC, will promote the publishing of a book in the form of a professionally composed publishing of results from the work in the working group, concerning durability of absorber coating.
The book will be a useful tool for introduction into the subject for people in the fields who wishe influence and understanding in the matter of durability testing that is essential to the introduction of new materials or new use of materials in the area of solar energy.
The book will be constructive for future work relating to accelerated durability test for components and materials. In related areas it will be possible to draw parallels and use the same methodology as used in the working group.
