    PRIM is a multidisciplinary study undertaken by the National Institute of Occupational Health; the Departments of Occupational Medicine at Glostrup Hospital, Herning Hospital, Århus Hospital Centre for Alternative Sociale Analysis (CASA) and Department of Technology and Social Sciences at The Technical University of Denmark. The main objectives of the project are:
    * to study the effects of the physical and psychosocial risk factors in repetitive work
    * to develop knowledge about organizational methodes which can lead to more vairation in the work, and to evaluate the health effects of such interventions.
    The DTU project is focusing on technological and organisational change and intervention i five companies, also studying the combined impact of new management strategies, new technology, new forms of work organization and the role of workers and workers participation in the development of more varied and humane work.
    The program is related to a national program aiming to reduce the amount of repetitive work with 50% before year 2000.
    The DTU part of the program will be finished in 1999-2000.
