Print2build: Sustainable pathways for large-scale 3D concrete printing

Project Details

Description

3D concrete printing (3DCP) is one of the most promising approaches to bring the building sector to the next level of industrialization. However, even if 3DCP can potentially improve construction practices, it does not necessarily mean that it will lead to more sustainable construction with lower environmental impacts than traditional approaches. So, the question of this research is how much large-scale 3D concrete printing can enhance sustainability construction?
