Prevention of Falls by Artificial Intelligence

The goal of the project is to investigate the possibility of preventing fall accidents in the elderly population by the use of artificial intelligence. This will be done by looking at citizens' home care services and possibly other data sources such as which aids they use or data from rehabilitation processes.
The motivation for the project is that fall accidents in the elderly population are severe and ought to be prevented. Home care service data is reliable and give a good idea of the evolution of the individual citizen, hence should be suitable for predicting falls.
