Description

Beach nourishment is a process were sand removed from the coast by natural wave erosion is replenished by sand from other sources. During the construction phase, fish are affected by sediment plumes and underwater noise from dredging vessels. In this project the effects on fish from beach nourishment along the Danish west coast were evaluated.
