    Description

Plasmids are small DNA molecules which contains all necessary information to be maintained in living cells. Plasmids are widely used as vectors, i.e., carriers of genetically manipulated material. We study the replication control in pBR322 and P15 derived plasmids. As a side project we are also developing new vectors with special properties for the precise expression of cloned genes.
