Perspectives of stormwater source control

    Project Details

    Description

Source control of urban stormwater includes local solutions for handling the stormwater, e.g. stormwater infiltration. The project aims at assessing the consequences of using source control compared to and in combination with conventional urban drainage systems based on discharge through pipe systems. The assessments are based on simulations of the urban runoff processes for different types of urban drainage systems with emphasis on the discharge of pollution to the aquatic environment, including both the discharge from combined sewer overflows and treatment plants
