Optimization of MPEG decoding

    Description

    MPEG is used for compression of digital video and is therefore a central element in digital TVs. In collaboration with B&O research is conducted to optimize the picture quality in MPEG decoding. Use of the information in the code stream regarding the specific coding is used to improve the picture quality. This is combined with postprocessing used for TV as well as new features are developed.
