Description
State-of-the-art image coding techniques are applied to test images of northern lights and thunderstorm sprites which are the target of the mission. The work was carried out as part of a proposal for the on-board image processing for a new Danish small satellite. The proposal was not selected though, but the work continues to complete part of the mission in other programmes.
