    Description

This project investigates different problems appearing in numerical applications of topology optimization methods. Examples are appearance of checkerboard patterns in "optimal" designs, mesh-dependencies and convergence to local minima. Another problem is to implement stress constraints in topology optimization in a numerically efficient way.
