Project Details
Description
NoTAC is an international collaboration focused on developing dissolved organic matter (DOM) as a tracer for Arctic water entering the Atlantic and exploring links between water mass origin and phytoplankton community composition.
The project will combine established tracer measurements with state-of-the art in situ sensor-based monitoring techniques to expand on existing techniques for tracing water mass origin in a major Arctic gateway, the Fram Strait.
The projects is coordinated by DTU Aqua and funded by Arctic Research Icebreaker Consortium (ARICE).
