Description
Recent research has shown that the cooling demand of highly insulated domsestic refrigerators in sizes of 300 to 400 litres is in the range of 30 to 50 Watts. A refrigeration system meeting this low demand requires a very small compressor. The objective of the project is to investigate possibilities for the design of a new type of compressor more suitable for this and other similar applications.
